Meet Charlie the Chimp, Mycroft the Monkey, Geoffrey the Gorilla, Grandad Nigel, Granddaughter Daisy, Dennis and Alfie, Cool Dog and many other puppet friends! They all love singing songs and telling stories of their unusual lives. Charlie the Chimp tries out his magic tricks and Geoffrey the Gorilla fancies himself as a stand up comedian. Everyone loves the interactions they can have with the puppets, who interact, hold hands and give cuddles to the audience during their singing acts!
Ventriloquist puppet shows – for care homes, day centres, hospitals, festivals and events
Tony and his puppet friends entertain in a 45-minute musical show including magic and jokes. Tony specialises in performances that give joy and interaction to dementia sufferers, but also has shows to be enjoyed by all adults. Each puppet reveals their personality in their interactive chat with the residents. They perform popular songs from favourite musicals and singers, duetting with each other and with Tony. They also encourage the audience to join in with songs such as ‘Do Re Mi’ and ‘Daisy, Daisy’. Tony is experienced in performing room visits to bedbound residents for one-to-one interaction and entertainment. The puppets are brilliant at encouraging residents to engage, converse and even sing. Tony’s puppets are currently making regular repeat visits to over forty care homes. Tony has an enhanced DBS check accessible on the update service. He also has up-to-date safeguarding training, professional indemnity insurance and has completed understanding dementia training. Parties – for children and adults!
Tony and his puppet friends are available as special guests for parties in the Oxfordshire area. He offers an act involving laughter and music of a length to suit any age group from four years to a hundred, which can be followed by an interactive workshop in which the children (or adults) can try out puppets for themselves. Tony and his puppet friends make an appearance at 7.30pm on the first Thursday of every month at the Witney Corn Exchange’s open mike evenings.
