Educating children & adults for 30 years
Tony has worked in over one hundred and fifty different primary schools and other educational establishments as a supply teacher and course facilitator.
From primary to adult education
Tony has taught mainly at primary level but also has experience in secondary education, including in SEN schools. He has developed and delivered courses for parents in schools, family centres and charity settings.
Online lessons for learners of English as a second language
For four years, Tony taught English to adults in the South of France where he also became bilingual. His interest in how children best learn led him to incorporate spontaneous storytelling and puppetry into his unique teaching style, both for children and for adults.
When standard teaching methods don’t work
Tony’s approach has been praised frequently by teachers and teaching assistants with whom he has shared classrooms for his ability to draw in children who have become disengaged from learning.
